Super Bowl ‘Partial Streaker’ Reportedly Spent $42K for Two Tickets to Las Vegas Game

The young men who ran shirtless on the field during Super Bowl LVIII paid a hefty price for their Allegiant Stadium seats.

One of the two daredevils claimed that he forked over $42,853.98 for a pair of tickets to Sunday’s Las Vegas matchup.

Alex Gonzalez, 23, of Miami, a self-described Miami Dolphins fan, said the tickets cost almost $16K each. An online service also charged about $10K in fees.

“$42,000 to go to jail,” Gonzalez joked in a YouTube video shot in their hotel room and at the stadium.

“I am paying $30,000 to get arrested,” Gonzalez added before he even knew about the service fees. “We’re f***ing idiots.”

Gonzalez didn’t explain where he got the cash to afford the pricey tickets. He said he works as a day trader.

Originally, the pair thought they could sneak into the Super Bowl without tickets. But they soon dropped that idea given the security presence.

On social media video, Gonzalez explained why he and Sebastian Rivera, 22, also of Miami, chose to dart out onto the field.

One of my goals has always been to streak the Super Bowl,” Gonzalez revealed in an Instagram video. “And I don’t want to be that guy, that I’m rich and I’m 50 years old, and I’m like, ‘Damn, I wish I would’ve done that when I was younger.’ No. I did it now and I’ll do it again.”

Weekend Preparations

To prepare for the stunt, the two visited Allegiant Stadium on Saturday. They planned their leap onto the field.

On Sunday, Gonzalez bet thousands of dollars on the game while at a Las Vegas Red Rock property just hours before the 3:30 p.m. kickoff, he claimed.

He then worked out at a gym and practiced tumbling. He even went to a sporting goods store to buy athletic shoes that he told the clerk he was using to “run onto the field.” One last preparation was getting an Instagram handle drawn onto his chest.

Once they arrived at Allegiant Stadium, there was no turning back.

The pair took their seats in the first row of the stadium’s Section 128.

At 6:15 p.m. during the third quarter, the men jumped over a security barrier. Once on the field, they scurried about and were chased by multiple security guards.

They soon were apprehended, and each was arrested for prohibited conduct at an athletic event.

After the two were released from what appeared to be Clark County Detention Center, Gonzalez admitted, “That was the stupidest thing we have ever done in our lives.”

Their presence on the field was spoken about by two veteran CBS sportscasters while broadcasting the game live to millions of viewers.

“Oh, we’ve got people on the field,” Tony Romo announced to the national TV audience.

“Oh, my goodness, we do, we’ve got a streaker …” Jim Nantz added. “Partial streaker,” Romo corrected him.

The shirtless men were never shown on national television.

Claim to Be Legends

But their photographs were widely published in the media.

We will go down as legends,” Gonzalez boasted in the YouTube video. “We are f***ing legends.”

Gonzalez has 446K followers on his Instagram account, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

His video “How I Streaked The Super Bowl in 2024” received 46K views on YouTube as of Thursday morning.
